Things are going well for Ollie Swell. He's the head curator of the Met, a devout patron of the arts, and a complete asshole. Things are going less-than-well for Gregory Stencilman. He's the outgoing head curator of the Louvre, a coward, and a complete asthmatic. Suddenly, as if intended for some sort of plot-driven musical production, a long-lost Dali painting turns up in England. Whichever institution can claim the priceless treasure as its own will be the envy of all the museum world, and whichever curator makes it possible will go down in history. Scandal, lust, love, lustful love, loving lust, scandalous lust, and lustful scandal (no love) ensue when a sexy FBI officer, Agent Orange (she knows it's a bad name) enters the mix.
