Housemasters' Welcome

Welcome to Currier House -- to our own returning seniors, juniors, tutors, and scholars, and a special warm welcome to the Class of 2010 and our new transfer students. We hope for a joyous, productive, and successful year for everyone.

Currier has a wonderful group of tutors and a very dedicated, experienced staff. They will be working hard to create an outstanding environment for everyone in the House. We hope you will not hesitate to let them or us know what we can do to help you have a great year – academically, personally, and socially.

Between the three of us, we have been part of Currier House for over 50 years (Shah for 31, Laura for 14, and Amy for 6!). Needless to say, we love Currier House and the 12,000+ students we’ve met over the years. Currier has a very strong sense of community, and we feel that the statement that has become the Currier motto – “Take Care of Each Other” – embodies the spirit of this House.

We will do all we can to foster this spirit, and we welcome and depend on each of you to join us. We also encourage each of you to find some activity, large or small, that you enjoy and that makes Currier House a better place for all of us.
